Environmental Global Concerns

Panama [Panama]

Panama is a Central American country which relies heavily on agricultural resources. Our GC is trying to promote sustainable agriculture in the poorest rural areas in Panama. We support a Non Governmental Organization called ‘Patronato de Nutrición', which helps us distribute the funds we raise among the different farms in the area. We are currently raising money to rebuild a farm that we aim to make self-sustainable by December 2008. Our meetings are held every Tuesday in Room 47 at 1:05 pm.
